Welcome to the Hole, a grim, decaying metropolis where humans are treated as playthings by the Sorcerers - a race of magic users from a different dimension. The Sorcerers frequently travel to the Hole to practice their dark, mutating magic on the defenseless humans, leaving behind a trail of grotesque victims. Among the residents of the Hole is Caiman, an amnesiac man whose head has been magically transformed into that of a reptilian beast. Immune to magic and incredibly strong, Caiman is on a relentless quest to find the Sorcerer responsible for his condition and recover his lost memories. Accompanied by his best friend Nikaido, a skilled martial artist who runs a local gyoza restaurant, Caiman hunts down Sorcerers, shoving their heads into his jaws where a mysterious face hidden inside his throat judges if they are 'the one'. 'Dorohedoro' is a bizarre, chaotic, and incredibly unique masterpiece that blends brutal gore, pitch-black comedy, and bizarrely endearing characters into an unforgettable post-apocalyptic mystery.
