Hachimitsu Private Academy was a revered and elite all-girls boarding school on the outskirts of Tokyo... until now. The school has recently revised its policies to allow boys to enroll, but the results are less than stellar. On the first day of the new semester, only five boys are admitted to the school, finding themselves vastly outnumbered by a terrifying student body of girls. When the boys are caught committing an unforgivable offense (peeping into the girls' bathing area), the formidable Underground Student Council gives them a choice: face immediate expulsion, or spend a month in the school's strict prison facility. What follows is a brilliantly hilarious, incredibly intense, and often absurd psychological battle of wits between the boys desperately trying to survive and break out, and the sadistic council members trying to break them. Prison School is a legendary comedy manga that perfectly balances extreme tension, incredible artwork, and absolutely unhinged humor.

A School Transformed
Hachimitsu Private Academy was once a revered, elite, and notoriously strict all-girls boarding school located on the outskirts of Tokyo. However, the school has recently revised its long-standing policies to finally allow boys to enroll, but the results are far less than stellar. On the first day of the new semester, only five incredibly nervous boys are admitted to the school: Kiyoshi, Gackt, Shingo, Andre, and Joe. They quickly find themselves vastly outnumbered by a terrifying, imposing student body of over a thousand girls. The boys' desperate hopes for a romantic high school life are completely shattered when they are caught committing an absolutely unforgivable offense - peeping into the girls' bathing area.
The Ultimate Prison Break
Following their disastrous mistake, the formidable and terrifying Underground Student Council, led by the sadistic President Mari, the brutal Vice President Meiko, and the quietly terrifying Secretary Hana, gives the boys a brutal ultimatum: face immediate expulsion, or spend a grueling month incarcerated in the school's strict, on-campus prison facility. What follows is a brilliantly hilarious, incredibly intense, and often completely absurd psychological battle of wits.
